NEW STUDIO POLICIES

If you are attending class for the first time, please make an account on our website or mobile app before arriving to the studio to help expedite your sign-in process. Click “My Account” in the top right-hand corner of this screen to get started!

Sign up for your classes in advance to secure the spot that you want. Picking your spot in advance will help us reduce lines and traffic before class starts as well social distance inside of the studio.

Be sure to register for classes at least 15 minutes prior to the start of class. Reservations will close 5 minutes before hand.

Clients are able to enter the studio up to 10 minutes prior to class. If you arrive to the studio before then, please wait in your car or a safe distance from others until the doors open.

Got our app? Check yourself into class using geo-check-in and avoid lines at the front desk.

You can also check yourself in at the front desk using our new express app. The iPad is cleaned and sanitized between each class, and hand sanitizer is provided for you to use after you sign yourself in.

Make sure you are signed in for class 5 minutes before the start of class. If you are not signed in 5 minutes prior to class, your spot could be given to someone on standby.

Masks are suggested to be worn before and after class in the lobby area.

Please be sure to wash your hands for 20 seconds with warm water after you’ve checked in. We ask all of our staff and clients to abide by “clean hands in, clean hands out” when entering & leaving our studio.

Socks are required for all class and must be put on before entering the studio.  Need socks?  We have several style and sizes for sale.

Props on the prop wall have been thoroughly cleaned and sanitized. Our team will place your props at your barre spot for you. At the end of class, please drop your props in the prop bin to be sanitized by our team. Please do not put your props back on the prop wall after you’ve used them.

Studios are thoroughly cleaned and sanitized prior to each class. To allow our staff to clean, the studio doors will be closed between classes and will open about 5 minutes prior to class starting. Please do not form a line outside of the studio door prior to class starting.

For the safety of our staff & clients, no one will be permitted to enter the studio once class has started. If you are not in class by the time it starts, you will be marked as a no show.

Before class begins, line yourself up at your spot at the barre. Be sure that your number matches the spot number that you reserved previously.

If asked to step into the center of the room for a portion of class, line yourself up on one of the barrecode decals on the floor to help keep a safe distance from others

Our instructors will be offering verbal cues & corrections only during this time. They will not be permitted to travel throughout the space. Use your mirrors and listen closely to your instructor to help you get the most out of your class. We are asking everyone to refrain from additional contact like high-fives, hugs, and fist bumps at this time.

At the end of class, once you’ve deposited your props in the prop cart, please discard any trash in the trash can and head to the bathroom to wash your hands.

Please stay for all of class, including stretch, so that we can ensure all props are cleaned thoroughly and that all clients can enjoy their full 50-minutes without interruption.


CANCELLATION POLICIES                                                                         

Cancelling a reservation more than 4 hours prior to class will result in no penalty. Cancelling a reservation less than 4 hours prior to a class will result in a $10 late cancellation fee. Failure to cancel a reservation or checking in properly for class will result in a $20 no show cancellation fee.

If you are booking a reservation for a guest, you are responsible for cancelling their reservation if they can no longer attend.

We reserve the right to cancel class for extenuating circumstances. If a class is cancelled, you will be notified. We encourage you to opt-in to all communications so as to stay up-to-date with studio updates.

If you are booking class through a third-party booking platform, such as ClassPass, you will be subject to their cancellation policies.


WAITLIST POLICIES                                                                                                 

You can be added from the waitlist to the class roster up to two hours before the start of class. If you are holding a spot on a waitlist for any particular class, treat your waitlist reservation the same as you would a class reservation. You should be prepared to attend class anytime you are holding a spot on the waitlist. If you have booked a reservation for a guest who is on a waitlist, the same policies here apply.

If you are unsure if you are able to attend class, please remove yourself from the waitlist at least 4 hours before the start of class to avoid being added to the class roster and to avoid any subsequent late cancel or no-show fees.

If you are added from the waitlist to the class roster, you are subject to all class cancellation policies. If you are added to the class roster from the waitlist but you then choose to late-cancel your reservation OR fail to show up for your reservation, you will be subject to the late cancel and/or no-show penalty.

If you remain on the waitlist less than two hours before the start of class, it is still possible that a spot may open up for you. We encourage you to arrive at least 10 minutes before the start of class to secure your potential spot in class. If a spot is available, you will be added to the class by our staff.


CONTRACT TERMS OF AGREEMENT
You must cancel your membership 30 days in advance of the next auto renewal date. All memberships will continue renewing until they are cancelled.

Some membership contracts have minimum commitments. Early termination of any contract will be subject to an early cancellation fee.

If you are traveling or will be out of town, we can place your monthly membership on hold (once per year) for a one-time $15 charge. You can place a hold on your membership for 1-3 month periods at a time.

You are grandfathered into your contract pricing for the duration of your contract. If you cancel your contract, you will be subject to any price increases should you decide to open a new contract. We encourage freezing your membership to avoid potential price increases.

  • 4 Class Monthly Membership – Plano
    • Valid at The Barre Code Plano as well at LIVE Streamed classes
    • Can book 4 classes each month. Classes do not roll over month to month.
    • Can book classes 8 days in advance
    • Late cancel window is 4 hours
    • Subject to cancellation penalty of one class credit per late cancel/no show
    • Contract renews indefinitely, once per month, until cancelled via email 30 days prior to auto-renewal. Cancellations are only valid once sent in writing via email to Plano@thebarrecode.com
  • 6 Class Monthly Membership – Plano
    • Valid at The Barre Code Plano as well at LIVE Streamed classes
    • Can book 6 classes each month. Classes do not roll over month to month.
    • Can book classes 8 days in advance
    • Late cancel window is 4 hours
    • Subject to cancellation penalty of one class credit per late cancel/no show
    • Contract renews indefinitely, once per month, until cancelled via email 30 days prior to auto-renewal. Cancellations are only valid once sent in writing via email to Plano@thebarrecode.com
  • Unlimited Monthly Autopay – Plano
    • Valid at Barre Code Plano as well at LIVE Streamed classes
    • Can book unlimited classes each month. Classes do not roll over month to month.
    • Can book classes 8 days in advance
    • Can bring 1 guest each month
    • Late cancel window is 4 hours
    • Subject to late cancel fees and no-show fees. Late cancel penalty is $10 and no-show penalty is $20
    • Contract renews indefinitely, once per month, until cancelled via email 30 days prior to auto-renewal. Cancellations are only valid once sent in writing via email to Plano@thebarrecode.com
  • Unlimited Monthly Autopay (12 Month Minimum) – Plano
    • Valid at The Barre Code Plano as well at LIVE Streamed classes
    • Can book unlimited classes each month. Classes do not roll over month to month.
    • Can book classes 8 days in advance
    • Can bring 1 guest each month
    • Late cancel window is 4 hours
    • Subject to late cancel fees and no-show fees. Late cancel penalty is $10 and no-show penalty is $20
    • Contract requires a 12 month minimum commitment and renews indefinitely, once per month, until cancelled via email
    • A $200 early cancellation fee applies when contract is terminated prior to meeting the 12 month commitment
  • Student Unlimited Monthly (Autopay) – Plano
    • Valid at The Barre Code Plano for in-studio classes as well at LIVE Streamed classes
    • Can book unlimited classes each month. Classes do not roll over month to month.
    • Can book classes 8 days in advance
    • Late cancel window is 4 hours
    • Subject to late cancel fees and no-show fees. Late cancel penalty is $10 and no-show penalty is $20
    • Contract requires a 3 month minimum commitment and renews indefinitely, once per month, until cancelled via email

CREDIT PACKAGE TERMS OF AGREEMENT
Credit packages, also known as “Class Packs,” all have expiration dates and must be used before they expire. Credits cannot be extended or used after the expiration date. Packages do not renew, are not transferrable, and are non-refundable.

  • 5 Class Pack – Plano
    • Valid at The Barre Code Plano
    • Credits expire 2 months after purchase
    • Can book classes 8 days in advance
    • Credits can be used to book standard classes
    • Credits can be used to book for guests
    • Late cancel window is 4 hours
    • Subject to late cancel penalties. Late cancel penalty is loss of credit
  • 10 Class Pack – Plano
    • Valid at The Barre Code Plano
    • Credits expire 6 months after purchase
    • Can book classes 8 days in advance
    • Credits can be used to book standard classes
    • Credits can be used to book for guests
    • Late cancel window is 4 hours
    • Subject to late cancel penalties. Late cancel penalty is loss of credit
  • 20 Class Pack – Plano
    • Valid at The Barre Code Plano
    • Credits expire 12 months after purchase
    • Can book classes 8 days in advance
    • Credits can be used to book standard classes
    • Credits can be used to book for guests
    • Late cancel window is 4 hours
    • Subject to late cancel penalties. Late cancel penalty is loss of credit

REFUND POLICY
No refunds are given for services (Classes, Credits, Memberships, Packages Events) or gift cards. Unworn and unused merchandise can be exchanged with the original tags within 7 days of purchased for a different size.

ADDITIONAL POLICIES, TERMS OF SERVICE, & WAIVER
You must agree to all additional policies outlined within The Barre Code’s Terms of Service and Waiver, as available on our website.
