The Barre Code-Heritage Hill Code of Conduct
If you are attending class for the first time, please create an account through our website or our mobile app prior to arriving at the studio to book your reservation and expedite your sign-in process!
Sign up for your classes up to 8 days in advance to secure the spot that you want. Picking your spot in advance will help us reduce lines and traffic before class starts.
Be sure to register for classes at least 5 minutes prior to the start of class. Reservation capabilities will close 5 minutes beforehand.
Got our app? Check yourself into class using geo-check-in and avoid lines at the front desk.
Make sure you are signed in for class 5 minutes before the start of class. If you are not signed in 5 minutes prior to class, your spot could be given to someone on the waitlist or on standby.
We have hand sanitizer located at the entrance of (and throughout) our studio space for immediate use.
Socks are required for all of our classes. Socks must be worn before entering our studio.
Need socks or water? Use the add-on menu to pre-buy and pick up your items at the front desk prior to class for no-contact delivery.
For the health and safety of our community, the Studio is thoroughly cleaned and sanitized prior to each class.
Before class begins, line yourself up at your spot at the barre. Be sure that your number matches the spot number that you previously reserved.
Props on the prop wall have been thoroughly sanitized and rotated to reduce the amount of contact. Once you arrive, check the prop-board to see what equipment is needed for class. After class, return your used props in front of the prop station so they can be properly sanitized by our Studio Assistant.
Sanitation stations in the studio and lobby are available for your use.
For the safety of our staff & clients, no one will be permitted to enter the studio once the class has started. If you are not in class by the time it starts, you will be marked as a no-show. Doors will be locked at the start of class.
Canceling a reservation more than 4 hours prior to class will result in no penalty. Canceling a reservation less than 4 hours prior to a class will result in a $10 late cancellation fee. Failure to cancel a reservation or checking in properly for the class will result in a $20 no-show fee.
Please stay for all of the class, including the stretch, so that we can ensure all props are cleaned thoroughly and that all clients can enjoy their full 50-minutes without interruption. In the instance that you must leave before the completion of the class, please be mindful and book yourself into the spot next to the studio exit so as to not interfere with another client’s experience.
The Barre Code-Heritage Hill Class Cancellation Policies. If you are unable to attend a reservation, you must cancel yourself from the class online at www.thebarrecode.com or via The Barre Code mobile app at least 4 hours before the start of class.
If you do not cancel yourself out of class before the designated cut-off time, you will receive a cancellation penalty of $10. If you do not show up for a class or do not properly check-in, you will receive a no-show penalty of $20. We cannot take cancellations over email, phone, or voicemail. You must cancel via the website or mobile app.
If you are booking a reservation for a guest, you are responsible for canceling their reservation if they can no longer attend.
*Please note, there is no way to automatically waive just Livestream class penalty fees. If you can no longer attend your live-streamed virtual class, please do NOT cancel within the 4-hour window or you will be charged a fee. Simply leave yourself on the roster so we can still check you as “present”, and take the class a little later.
We reserve the right to cancel the class for extenuating circumstances. If a class is canceled, you will be notified. We encourage you to opt-in to all communications so as to stay up-to-date with studio updates.
If you are booking class through a third-party booking platform, such as ClassPass, you will be subject to their cancellation policies.
The Barre Code-Heritage Hill Waitlist Policies. You can be added from the waitlist to the class roster up to 2 hours before the start of class. If you are holding a spot on a waitlist for any particular class, treat your waitlist reservation the same as you would a class reservation. You should be prepared to attend class anytime you are holding a spot on the waitlist. If you have booked a reservation for a guest who is on a waitlist, the same policies here apply.
If you are unsure if you are able to attend class, please remove yourself from the waitlist at least 4 hours before the class start time to avoid being added to the class roster and to avoid any subsequent late cancel or no-show fees.
If you are added from the waitlist to the class roster, you are subject to all class cancellation policies. If you are added to the class roster from the waitlist but you then choose to late-cancel your reservation OR fail to show up for your reservation, you will be subject to the late cancel and/or no-show penalty.
If you remain on the waitlist less than one hour before the start of class, it is still possible that a spot may open up for you. We encourage you to arrive at least 10 minutes before the start of class to secure your potential spot in class. If a spot is available, you will be added to the class by our staff.
The Barre Code-Heritage Hill Contract Terms of Agreement. A 30-day cancellation notice is required for all memberships. Clients must request to cancel membership via email at least 30 days before the start of the next billing cycle in order to avoid auto-renewal for the following month.
Memberships can be frozen in 30-day increments and are allowed to freeze for a maximum of 3 months per year at no charge.
Memberships are non-transferable and non-refundable.
If a client’s card is declined and membership or penalty fees are not processed, the client will be unable to book into classes effective immediately. Once the new payment information is received, all outstanding charges will be processed, and the client membership will be reactivated and able to book reservations.
