What is The Barre Code?

The Barre Code is a boutique fitness concept designed to help our clients find their strongest selves. Our emphasis on positivity, motivation, and empowerment encourages our national community to celebrate their bodies and #LiveByTheBarre Code.

How is The Barre Code different from other fitness concepts?

The Barre Code is the most efficient and results-driven fitness program, focusing on three unique pillars of physical & mental wellness: cardio, strength training, and restoration. Clients of all fitness levels and ability are welcome, and our wide variety of class styles and custom-curated playlists lead to a unique experience that has every client leaving the studio feeling stronger and more confident than ever.

How do I sign up for classes?

From each individual studio’s page, you can sign up for classes using our Mariana Tek booking platform, or you can download The Barre Code app! Just create an account with your email address and you’re all set!

What do I need to bring to class?

Come dressed to move! We recommend wearing clothes that make you feel comfortable. Socks are required for all non-heated classes, and mats are required for all heated classes. We do have mat rentals available, as well as socks available for purchase at all studios, and all other props you need are at the studio!

When should I arrive?

First-time clients should arrive 15 minutes prior to class for a studio tour and introduction to The Barre Code.

The doors close right as class begins, and we cannot allow clients who are more than 5 minutes late to enter a class. Please respect the instructor and fellow clients by arriving on time to avoid disrupting class.

What can I expect at my first class?

Expect to sweat and shake! All classes in The Barre Code program are designed to challenge every BODY, but we recommend starting with our cornerstone “Barre Code” class to provide you with the fundamentals of our experience. We offer modifications and challenges for everyone, regardless of experience or ability. Please let your instructor know if you have any injuries or concerns prior to class, and feel free to ask any questions before or after class!

Can I come to The Barre Code if I am pregnant?

Of course – welcome to #TheMamaCode!  We recommend getting clearance from your physician prior to coming to class. Once you arrive at the studio, inform your instructor prior to class that you are pregnant, so she may offer prenatal modifications specific to the class you are taking.

How often should I come to The Barre Code to see results, and what classes should I take?

Every BODY is different, so there is no set formula for results. We do recommend that all clients take advantage of our full program by incorporating cardio, strength training, and restoration into a complete and well-balanced fitness regimen. The best way to reach your goals is by staying motivated, so we recommend enjoying everything that The Barre Code community offers from quarterly challenges to specialty classes, and following @TheBarreCode on social media for an added daily dose of encouragement!
