How do I sign up for classes?
From each individual studio’s page, you can click on the link to reserve classes using our MindBody Online scheduling software. Just create a username and password, select a class/package for purchase, and you’re all set.
Do you offer any specials for new clients?
We do! Please contact the studio you are interested in attending for information on new client specials.
I want to do the monthly auto-pay. How do I sign up?
In the Retail screen on MindBody Online, click on the “CONTRACTS” tab to sign up for an auto-pay membership. Make sure to check with the studio you attend for their specific auto-pay policies.
What do I need to bring to class?
Come dressed to move! We recommend wearing comfortable clothes. Socks are required for all non-heated classes, and mats are required for all heated classes. We do have rental mats available at the studios for a small fee.
What can I expect at my first class?
Expect to sweat and shake! All classes in The Barre Code program are designed to challenge at every level. We offer modifications and challenges for everyone, regardless of experience or ability. Please let your instructor know if you have any injuries or concerns prior to class, and feel free to ask her any questions before or after class.
What else do I need to know for my first class?
Please review your welcome e-mail for specific studio location, requirements, and policies. Arrive 15 minutes prior to the class start time. We would like to have enough time to meet you, have you fill out some paperwork, and show you around.
Can I come to The Barre Code if I am pregnant?
Yes, you can. However, please clear it with your doctor and bring a doctor’s note with you to class before beginning any prenatal program. Please inform your instructor prior to class that you are pregnant. We suggest arriving a little early to discuss modifications with your instructor before class.
What’s your cancellation policy?
In order to help all our clients get into the classes they want, we do enforce our cancellation policy and charge a fee for late cancels and no-shows. Please check with your local studio for their specific cancellation policy and late cancel fee.
What should I know about arriving for class?
First-time clients should arrive 15 minutes prior to class for a studio tour and introduction to The Barre Code.
The doors close right as class begins, and we cannot allow clients who are more than 5 minutes late to enter a class. Please respect the instructor and fellow clients and arrive on time to avoid disrupting class.
I am a new client. What class do you recommend that I start with?
We recommend that all new clients take our original Barre Code class at least once. Barre Code offers intensive strength work, cardio blasts, and restorative stretching, and is a great introduction to our program. In this class, you will learn the basic moves and terminology that you can expect to see in our other class types.
How often should I come to The Barre Code to see results, and what classes should I take?
Every client is different, so there is no set formula for results. We do recommend that all clients take advantage of our full program by incorporating cardio, strength training, and restoration into a complete and well-balanced fitness regimen.
