April Hustle Brings May Muscles Workout

It’s a brand-new month and a brand-new time to HUSTLE, as we officially feel those spring vibes in the air. Take your Barre Code workout on-the-go with the following set of moves – all you need is a bench, stable seated surface, or a set of stairs!

  • Alternating Toe Bench Taps: On your stable surface and as quickly as you can, try to tap the exact same spot each time for 45 seconds. Rest for 15 seconds and repeat 5x {5 minutes total}.
  • Lateral Step-Ups: Turn profile to your stable surface and step up onto it with the inside leg, driving the outside leg up into your chest. Squeeze your glutes and hold for a beat and then lower back down. Perform 20x, then switch sides.
  • Bench Dips: Face away from your stable surface and place your hands on it with your fingertips pointing toward you. Lower your seat as close to the surface as you can. Perform 12 tricep dips, getting as large a range of motion as you can. Pulse low for 12 reps. Hold low for 12 counts. Shake-out and repeat 3x.
  • Bench Climbers: Turn to face your stable surface and extend yourself to a plank. Run into the surface (mountain climber style) as quickly as you can for 30 seconds. Hold your plank position and perform incline push-ups for the next 30 seconds. Repeat for 5 rounds.
